Data stored in the Cloud is encrypted, including when we utilize third party storage. When you use some RealHolmes products, services, or applications, the personal information and content you share is visible to other users and can be read, collected, or used by them. You are responsible for the personal information you choose to share or submit in these instances. For other personal information we hold, we will provide you with access for any purpose including to request that we correct the data if it is inaccurate or delete the data if we are not required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes. We may decline to process requests that are frivolous/vexatious, jeopardize the privacy of others, are extremely impractical, or for which access is not otherwise required by local law. Access and correction of information about you

We abide by the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Cross Border Privacy Rules System. The APEC CBPR system provides a framework for organizations to ensure protection of personal information transferred among participating APEC economies. RealHolmes will take reasonable steps to protect personal information regardless of the country it is stored in or transferred to. RealHolmes has procedures and data transfer contracts to ensure this occurs.

Loss of Personal Information

Despite every effort to protect your personal information, there is always a possibility that a breach of our security may occur. In this event RealHolmes will: seek to identify and secure the breach to prevent reoccurrence; notify persons whose personal information has been breached; notify the regulator in accordance with the Philippine Data Privacy Law governed by the Data Privacy Act; if the breach is significant, and criminal activity is suspected, notify the appropriate law enforcement authorities; and post a notice on our website advising our customers of the breach.

How we delete linked Google or Facebook user data upon user request

Users may at any time, have the option to delete linked user data from their linked Facebook or Google Account, via (describe process for selecting button on Account) on Account Settings. User will then be asked to confirm deletion via a pushup notification. Upon confirming deletion, user data will be deleted, and user will then be logged off the platform.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

RealHolmes is required to review and update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes to RealHolmes’s Privacy Policy will be published, including the effective date that the Privacy Policy is updated.
