On June 23, 2023, Repay Digital Solutions solidified a brand new partnership with MCT Pay to provide cross-border payment solutions for multiple countries. 

RePay Digital Solutions is a digital application focused on serving the Filipino global market. It aims to aid the Philippines in transitioning from a mostly cash-based economy to a cashless economy. The current application includes essential services such as remittance, investments and documentation. Services that are intended to help Filipinos maintain their businesses and households. 

RePay and MCT Pay's Singapore Meeting

MCT Pay is known as the first cashless payment service provider since 2015. It has since become a mainstream payment service provider licensed and supervised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore(MAS). Among its accomplishments, MCT Pay helped develop the WeChat ecosystem solution for Singapore, as well as aiding in introducing the AliPay e-payment services for Singapore. In 2022, it was awarded the “Most Promising Enterprise” award during the Singapore Heartland Enterprise Star Award (SHESA) 2022 event which was organized under the Federation of Merchant’s Associations Singapore and Shin Min Daily News. 

Overall, RePay’s representatives thought highly of the prospects regarding the partnership and remarked as such in a statement provided after their partnership with MCT was made official.

They also talked further about MCT Pay’s role in that process.
